SARGA.CO – Indonesia’s Horseback Archery Team brought pride to the nation at the IHAA World Championships 2025, held September 19–21 at Tennessee Valley Archery in the United States.
Outperforming 17 of the 19 competing nations, Indonesia claimed the runner-up position, finishing just one medal behind France, which captured eight medals in total. The Indonesian squad secured 1 gold, 3 silver, and 3 bronze medals at this prestigious event.
“This achievement is proof of the hard work of our athletes—Azral Mardin, Kaisar Akthar Firdauz, and Omar El Farooq Putra Alleut—along with the full support of PP Pordasi and the Horseback Archery Commission,” read a recent post on the Instagram account @Pordasi.id.
This success further cements Indonesia’s standing as one of the world’s leading powers in horseback archery.
Gold: Kaisar Akthar Firdauz in the Raid 2.3.5 category. He also earned a bronze in the Junior category.
Silver & Bronze: Omar El Farooq captured silver in both the Young Individual and Overall Individual categories, plus bronze in Raid 2.3.5 and Hunt Style.
Team Silver: Azral Mardin, Kaisar Akthar Firdauz, and Omar El Farooq together clinched silver in the team event.
This milestone was the result of a rigorous journey—from the tough selection process at the PP Pordasi Chairman’s Cup in Bali, to trial runs in Banten, and an intensive training camp at Yonkavkud I Sembrani in West Java.
The achievement also highlights the crucial role of PP PORDASI in nurturing Indonesia’s horseback archery athletes onto the world stage.
