SARGA.CO — A heart-pounding victory was claimed by War Kudeta from King Halim Stable in Race XVI, Class B – 1,850 Meters at the Indonesia’s Horse Racing (IHR) National Championship Pordasi Series II 2025, held at Sultan Agung Racetrack, Yogyakarta, on Sunday, October 19, 2025.
The prestigious race, competing for the Le Minerale Cup with a total prize of Rp 50 million, showcased an intense clash among top-tier horses, including P Tupai King, Naura Ayu, and War Kudeta.
From the moment the gates opened, P Tupai King from BHM Stable took an early lead, closely pursued by Naura Ayu. The competition heated up further when Al Ablaq surged forward after the first turn, creating a fierce three-way battle at the front.
But the real surprise came from behind. War Kudeta, the powerful stallion from West Java, began adjusting his rhythm and steadily closed the gap on the frontrunners. While the leading pack tussled for position, War Kudeta quietly built momentum — and then unleashed his full speed.
As they entered the second turn, Padagi NSL attempted to challenge from the outside, but War Kudeta only grew stronger. With full power and a calculated strategy, he broke through to the front pack and engaged in a thrilling head-to-head duel with P Tupai King.
The tension peaked in the final 100 meters as the two horses raced side by side, neck and neck. The crowd erupted as War Kudeta accelerated in the final seconds, edging past his rival to cross the finish line first — a narrow but decisive victory.
This win solidified War Kudeta’s reputation as one of the best finishers of the season, proving his endurance and racing instinct on the long-distance track.
