SARGA.CO – The IHR National Horse Racing Championship (Kejurnas) PORDASI Series II 2025, held on October 19 at the Sultan Agung Racecourse, Bantul, Yogyakarta, once again proved that North Sulawesi (Sulut) remains one of Indonesia’s leading forces in horse racing.
According to the Pacuan Kuda Tompaso Sulawesi Utara Facebook page, out of 28 racehorses bred or born in North Sulawesi that competed in this national event, 17 successfully reached the podium, including 6 first-place winners. This remarkable feat reaffirms the high breeding standards and competitiveness of North Sulawesi’s racehorse industry at the national level.

A total of 28 horses bred or born in North Sulawesi participated in this year’s championship, representing renowned stables such as Miranda Stable, Bendang Stable, Pedok Bambu, Taurut Stable, James Waani, and Aragon Tompaso.
Other competing horses included Wulan Nuangan, Syam Wakas, George Taurut, Eula Taurut, Gegana Maja, Diva Istana, Blate Vasundara, Merdeka Jatim, and more.
This podium domination is not only a sporting achievement but also a testament to the consistency and competitiveness of North Sulawesi’s racehorse breeding and training programs. With superior genetics, disciplined training, and visionary stable owners, the province continues to produce some of Indonesia’s finest racing athletes.
