SARGA.CO – The Indonesia’s Horse Racing (IHR) Pordasi 59th National Championship Series II at the Sultan Agung Horse Racing Field, Bantul, Yogyakarta (DIY), on Sunday, October 19, 2025, is heating up once again. This time, the Class D 1,000-Meter Sprint Heat 1 will feature a lightning-fast clash among seven of the best horses from various provinces.
Line-Up – Class D 1,000-Meter Sprint Heat 1:
P Musang King from South Kalimantan enters as the heavy favorite, carrying the prestige of a champion after winning the Class D 1,200-Meter Race at the IHR Indonesia Derby 2025. With explosive speed and sharp instincts on short tracks, P Musang King is clearly the horse to beat in this heat.
However, Better Sweet from East Java is expected to put up a fierce fight. Having secured third place in the 1,300-meter Class at the IHR Indonesia Derby 2025, this horse has proven to possess both stamina and sprinting power, making it a serious challenger for the win.
Lady Baharna from Jakarta and Beauty Generation from West Java are predicted to bring early pressure from the outer gates.
Seribu Bunga (Central Sulawesi) and Palito Minang (Yogyakarta) will likely capitalize on their quick starts to take early leads.
Meanwhile, Putri Jelita, another contender from West Java, could turn out to be the surprise package if she can maximize her position on the straight track.
This qualifying heat will not only determine the fastest sprinters, but also test the consistency and precision of each horse in a race where every second counts. On a short 1,000-meter track, even the slightest mistake—whether a slow start or a minor misstep—could destroy a contender’s chances. Get ready for a high-octane sprint showdown where only the sharpest and fastest will make it to the final!
