SARGA.CO – A total of 131 horses from across the provinces are gearing up for the Indonesia’s Horse Racing Cup 2025, scheduled for Sunday, June 15, at Sultan Agung Stadium, Bantul. This event serves as a warm-up for the Indonesia Derby in July, boasting an impressive prize pool of IDR 402.5 million.
The two most elite categories—Open Class and Derby Contender—each offer a top prize of IDR 70 million. This has drawn high-caliber contenders, including Sidney All Star, Kamaka Eclipse, Romeo Berjaya, Triple SS, and Rapid Dash.
The competition spans 18 categories, segmented by age groups (2- and 3-year-olds), height classes (A–F), and Thoroughbred divisions.
Some well-known names like Shogun Eclipse, Cassius Warrior, and Victoria of Khalim will be competing in the promising two-year-old class.
In the Open Class (2,000 meters), fierce matchups are expected among stars like Naga Sembilan, Guti Spirit, and P. Ratu Samudra.
Beyond performance, this event showcases the strength of Indonesia’s top stables—Eclipse Stable, King Halim Stable, Tombo Ati Stable, Aragon Stable, and Nagari Stable—each fielding their finest horses to dominate ahead of the Indonesia Derby.
